The printer driver writes the path and file name of the latest written group file (*.grp) into the bi_group.ini file. The driver also write errors into the “Print Status” key of the bi_group.ini file such as “Filename is longer than 260 characters”, if the normal group file cannot be written.
Since Printer Driver version 14.40, the last output file name is also written to the bi_group.ini file, in the “Last Output File” key.

The path and filename of the bi_group.ini file can be configured in the Printer Driver’s INI file using the “INI file” key in the [BiGroup.ini] section.

The default value is C:\Windows\Temp\bi_group.ini.
