Tiff Viewer version 11.04 is released!
Stability improvements for scanning, batch scanning, saving documents and images
Black Ice Software has released Tiff Viewer version 11.04 including stability improvements for scanning, batch scanning and saving documents. The new release also includes stability improvements for sending documents via E-mail and uploading to SharePoint.
The latest release of Black Ice Software Tiff Viewer version 11.04 includes stability improvements for scanning and batch scanning documents to highly increase the reliability of Tiff Viewer for all the available scanners on the market.
Also, the latest Tiff Viewer includes an improved and simplified Save As dialog which selects the recommended options for each file format. This increases the usability and enhances the user's experience. The latest version also includes updated documentation.
The complete list of improvements in the latest Tiff Viewer version 11.04 includes the following:
- Stability improvement for scanning and batch scanning documents
- Improved user interface in Save as dialog
- Stability improvement when trying to send unsaved scanned image in E-mail
- Stability improvement when trying to upload unsaved scanned image to SharePoint
- Stability improvement when opening an image and the folder of the image contains corrupt image file
- Stability improvement when opening image PDF files
- Stability improvement for opening BMP file if the path of the file is longer than 128 characters
- Stability improvement for Reverse fill order setting when saving Tiff file
- Added path length checking in Cut File and Split File dialogs
- Renamed liblept.dll to BiLeptonica.dll
- Renamed libtesseract to BiTesseract.dll
- Relocated "tessdata" folder to "BiOCR\tessdata"
- BILM version 3.1.0.57
- Image DLL's version 12.51(revision 454)
- Updated manuals
