Printer Driver version 14.51 is released!
Significant speed improvements for printing multipage documents to TIFF file formats, and increased TIFF output file size limit from 2GB to 4GB!
Black Ice Software has released the Printer Driver version 14.51 with significant improvements in performance for printing multipage documents to TIFF file formats. A 70,000 page document now converts to TIFF in only 7 hours, previous version used to take over 48 hours to convert, while the output quality remains the same! A 6000 page PDF file is converted to TIFF in 30 minutes, previous version used to take over 1 hour and 45 minutes. The speed improvement increases as the printed document page number increases.
The TIFF printing improvements affects every TIFF file format, including TIFF Group 4, TIFF Group 3, TIFF JPEG, TIFF for Dialogic boards, TIFF for NMS boards, TIFF for Gammalink boards and more.
The printing speed improvement does not affect printing single page document to TIFF file formats.
The new version of Black Ice Printer Driver also includes increased TIFF output file size limit from 2GB to 4GB, allowing users to generate extremely large TIFF documents, or to append new documents to already existing TIFF documents above 2GB. The TIFF printing improvements affects every TIFF file format, including TIFF Group 4, TIFF Group 3, TIFF JPEG, TIFF for Dialogic boards, TIFF for NMS boards, TIFF for Gammalink boards and more.
