Development of Version 12.11 of the Black Ice Tiff Viewer was focused on usability improvements and stability fixes. Usability was improved with changes being made to the thumbnail view, in direct relation to feedback received by clients. Meanwhile, fixes included in this release resolved problems related to opening certain Image PDF files as well as some file association problems on Windows 10.

With Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) reaching End of Life, it is no longer consider to be HIPAA compliant. The Black Ice Tiff Viewer is capable of viewing, editing and printing scanned/faxed TIFF images and other image types, resulting an ideal substitute for MODI.
