The latest Print2RDP Server version 6.29 includes a new Audit Log Feature, allowing Administrators to track the printer usage and calculate the printing costs.

The Audit Log contain’s the following information for each print job:

• Date and Time of the Printing
• IP Address of the Client
• Client User name
• Printed document type and name
• Number of Pages
• Printer name
• Status: Success/Abort

By using the new Audit Log, billing services can determine the printing costs based on the number of pages and then identify the highest costs by the Users or by the used Printers. This information can then be used to help companies cut back on expensive printing costs and save money.

When the Audit Log is enabled the Print2RDP Server will also log every printed document into a Comma-Separated (.CSV) or (.LOG) file. With this Administrators and Data Analysts can import the data into Microsoft Excel to make additional cost calculations.

Additionally, the Audit Log can be reviewed using the Audit Log Visualization, which will display the data in easy-to-understand Bar Charts. Within the Audit Log Visualization Administrators can quickly filter the printed documents for a date interval, specific printers, number of pages, and more
