Black Ice Software would like to announce the switch to subscription based licensing for the Print2RDP starting March 1st 2020!

Perpetual licensing for the Print2RDP will no longer available for Print2RDP after this date.

Disadvantages of perpetual licensing include higher upfront cost for customers. This can make perpetual licenses not viable for short term projects or in cases where the business unit is on a budget or is cash flow constrained.

Advantages of subscription based licensing include the lower upfront cost, and Licensing flexibility!

Licensing can be terminated when projects are completed and software purchases can be more easily funded using available cash flow.
Subscription based licensing also includes technical support, transferable licenses and free upgrades. For system administrator’s; license maintenance and maintaining technical support for third party products requires significant overhead costs , and inconvenience of maintaining and keeping track of licenses.

Customers with existing perpetual licenses for the Print2RDP can maintain their license as long as the customer maintains a valid support contract. If you have an existing license that you wish to maintain a perpetual license model with you may upgrade today to reinstate maintenance valid until March 1, 2020. After this date once the maintenance/support has lapsed for the Print2RDP customers will need to move to a subscription based licensing if they need any assistance with their license.

Do not forget to subscribe to future releases by purchasing maintenance. With an active maintenance subscription, you will receive all new releases for free!
