Terminal Server Deployment
Deploying any application to Terminal Servers or in Active Directory can be challenging for many IT Managers. Black Ice Software now has simplified large scale deployments for many of our products such as Print2RDP, Tiff Viewer, Print2Email and document converter Printer Drivers with MSI installers for Terminal Servers.
Deployment methods
IT Managers can choose from the following software deployment methods when deploying Black Ice applications:
- Assign to computer: the application will be automatically installed the next time the computer boots up. This
deployment method requires no document invocation or user intervention of any kind.
- Assigning an application to a user:
The user will see a shortcut to the application on his/her Desktop or Start menu. However, the application won't actually be installed until the first time
they double-click the shortcut or use document invocation.
- Assigning an application to a user (install during logon) will perform an install as soon as the user logs on, without
the need for the user to click.
- Publishing applications will make that application available to users at their next logon. Once you've published an application, a user can install or uninstall it by using the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel. The installer will also launch through document invocation.

– Convert any printable file to
PDF and many other file formats.

System Administrators to set the default settings easily for all users. Modified settings will become the default for all users. SharePoint Server and Directory information can be set
during the installation as well.
