Add Agent Printers during the installation for frequently used, routine tasks
Black Ice Software has released the Printer Driver version 14.37 including new capabilities to Add Agent Printers during the installation for frequently used, routine tasks, such as sending the printed document in email, upload to dropbox or print it to a specific file format. The MSI installers are designed for large scale deployment and also include the new improvements to add Agent Printers during the installation in Active Directory environments.
Agent Printers enable users to create printers with specific settings for frequently used tasks without having to repeat the printer configuration steps each time. For example, if the user has to email out invoices to the same company then the user can simplify the process by setting up an Agent printer for the company. The user can create as many Agent Printers as necessary.
The latest release of the Black Ice Printer Driver version 14.37 includes stability improvements for appending PDF files using the Combine/Merge multiple documents into a single file option and updated documentation to let users take advantage of the new features.
The complete list of improvements in the latest Black Ice Printer Driver include the following:
- Added option to install Agent Printers to the Licensed Printer Drivers
- Renamed the profiles in the Printer Drivers to be more descriptive
- Updated PDF Dlls to version 2.6.3.624
- Stability improvement for appending PDF files using the "Combine/Merge multiple documents into a single file" option (E.g.: Printing EXcel files with Auto-print)
- Updated licensing for BiBatchConverter
- Updated manuals
