The BiLPDManager is a LPD/LPR Print Server which receives print files from UNIX, Linux, MAC, AS400 and Solaris host systems via TCP/IP LPR/LPD port and prints them to networked, local, or shared printers.

The BiLPDManager run as a windows service or a desktop application. The BiLPDManager listens for requests on default TCP port 515 named LPR/LPD (Line Printer Remote/Line Printer Daemon) which is a TCP/IP printing protocol for network print services.

Black Ice Software's most recent release of the BiLPD Manager includes user interface changes, stability improvements, new features for the BiLPDManager Service Settings tab and much more . The BiLPDManager can run as a Windows service under the Administrator account while also being executed as a desktop application for other Users at the same time. Also multiple users can monitor the LPD port for Print Jobs simultaneously.
