Tiff Viewer version 9.12 is released!
Black Ice Software has released version 9.12 of the Black Ice Software Tiff Viewer and Tiff Viewer Server.
Black Ice Tiff Viewer version 9.12 includes several new improvements in the file opening on Server operating systems. These improvements include annotation handling, invert image saving, rotating, TIFF file merging, and other useful functions. Furthermore, the latest Tiff Viewer includes several changes and improvements on the user interface to improve the user experience and clarity.
The complete list of improvements in the latest Tiff Viewer 9.12 release includes the following:
- Faster File Opening on Servers. Reducing the time to open the first document by seconds.
- Improved annotation handling in insert, move and delete image functions. Improved annotation saving when moving, deleting, or inserting a page in a multipage TIFF file.
- Improvement in invert image saving. To be more user-friendly, besides the improved saving, the Tiff Viewer will ask for confirmation of saving the changes.
- Improved user interface. Several changes and improvements on the user interface to improve the user experience and clarity.
- New supported TIFF Compression type. Added - reading TIFF Compression type 8 from Adobe TIFF Specification Supplement 2 (2002).
- BILM version 2.6.0.48. Stability improvement in error handling from Black Ice License Manager.
Additional improvements in the latest Tiff Viewer and Tiff Viewer Server;

- Fixed Thumbnail viewer annotation display problems on multiple pages
- Stability improvement in configuration handling for the Getting Started window
