Black Ice Software has released the TIFF Viewer version 12.30 including usability improvements and stability fixes.

Based directly on client feedback, the Browser Plug-in has been enhanced to now remember the last used View mode and Zoom Mode. This improves the usability and efficiency for users helping to prevent the need to continually adjust the view mode between documents.

The latest TIFF Viewer also includes stability improvements for drawing Highlight annotations, for opening certain truncated TIFF and Image PDF documents, and fixed a problem related to certain image PDF files opening with black and white inverted.

The new TIFF Viewer also includes the updated Form Filler with a new Barcode field, Vector/Editable PDF, PDF/A and Compact PDF saving, and dozens of other new features and improvements.

With Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) reaching End of Life, it is no longer consider to be HIPAA compliant. The Black Ice Tiff Viewer is capable of viewing, editing and printing scanned/faxed TIFF images and other image types, resulting in an ideal substitute for MODI. When paired with the Black Ice Printer Drivers users can convert any file format to Tiff, PDF and more. The evaluation copy of both solutions is fully functional for 15 days with free priority technical support during your evaluation.
