Tiff Viewer version 11.17 is released!
Includes several usability and user interface improvements to enhance the user's experience.
Black Ice Software has released Tiff Viewer version 11.17 including improvements for recognizing the default compression of the Image PDF documents. Version 11.17 also added compression methods when trying to Save As to help users to compress the documents and significantly reduce the file size.
Version 11.17 of Tiff Viewer includes improvements for Windows Server operating systems to set up the configurations on the Options > General Tab and View Tab.
The latest release of Tiff Viewer also added several new improvements to enhance usability, for example handling Ctrl+S for saving documents, options for Burn in Annotations on multipage documents, options to select default compression types for TIFF formats and improved file association to set up Tiff Viewer as the default viewer when installing with the MSI Installer for large scale deployments.
The complete list of improvements in the latest Tiff Viewer include the following:
- Recognize the original compression of Image PDF
- Added compression modes when Save as Image PDF
- Improvements for the Options > General Tab and View Tab on Windows Server operating systems
- Improved file association method when set up default viewer on the system to be compatible with the MSI Installer
- Added multipage Burn in option
- Added option to not ask for saving annotation, when changing page, only when saving document
- Added handling Ctrl+S to save documents
- Added to Options to select default compression type for TIFF formats
- Improvements for printing multiple copies of a document
- Improvements for Tiff Viewer Browser Plug-in on Windows Server operating systems
