Black Ice Software has released the TIFF Viewer version 12.60 including several small improvements. The Tiff Viewer now includes a feature to "Save Tiff files with proportional resolution" which will be a default option for the software moving forward.

Customers who use Fax Standard faxes, that is 204x98 DPI resolutions, will now have the document saved as 204x204 DPI proportional vertical and horizontal resolution. Many applications such as Paint and Photos on Windows 10 displayed the tiff file as compressed and distorted if left as 204x98 DPI, since these applications cannot compensate for the nonproportional resolution. With the new proportional resolutions other clients or users that view the Images on these other applications will no longer experience issues with documents appearing distorted or compressed.

The MSI Installer can now deploy the Tiff Viewer without a Serial number and without Internet connection for later registration/activation.
