Additional new improvements are an Updated Email module in the Tiff Viewer to be compatible with the latest version Microsoft Office 365 and email security for Microsoft Office professional 2019/2016.

The newest release also includes the updated Tesseract OCR engine version 4.1 which provides more accurate recognition of OCR data on document and faster performance. In addition the Tesseract OCR engine includes countless bug fixes.

File association has also been improved for users that are added to the system after the Tiff Viewer is installed. The new users also inherent file association for file format .TIF, .TIFF, and .Fax.

The TIFF Viewer version 12.46 is a critical update for customers who use the Tiff Viewer features for Batch Scanning or Emailing.

With Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) reaching End of Life, it is no longer consider to be HIPAA compliant.
