Black Ice Software has released Tiff Viewer version 11.00 with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to convert Tiff, Image PDF, Faxes, and Scanned documents into editable and searchable text format with one click. Tiff Viewer version 11.00 available for Windows desktop and Windows server operating systems.
The Tiff Viewer OCR is designed to generate searchable and editable text from a raster image document. The TiffViewer OCR was not designed to retain layout of the original document or retain the fonts of the original document. There are advanced OCR software packages for advanced OCR document processing.
The Tiff Viewer OCR supports 64 languages and a separate OCR Language Pack is available for Tiff Viewer. The language pack can be downloaded through the following link.
