In order to configure Local area codes, go to Fax menu > Config > Long Distance tab.
Local Area Codes stores a list of local area codes which will be used to determine if an outgoing fax should be treated as a long distance fax. Any number of area codes can be stored. If a fax contains any of the entered Local area codes, it will be treated as a local call, without +1 long distance dialing.
For example: Sending a fax to 3337777777, while the 333 is added to the Local Area Codes list, resulting local call would be 3337777777 without +1 dialing.
To dial local number with 10 digit using the area code like 3337777777 the 333 must be in the Local Area Codes list.
If the 333 is not listed in the Local Area Codes List, the fax will be sent with long distance dialing +1 3337777777.
Remove the local area codes… Impact Fax Broadcast will check fax numbers for local area codes only if they contain the number of digits specified in this field. This is set to 10 by default (XXX-XXX-XXXX) for United States fax numbers.
Dial ‘1’ Before Long Distance Numbers if checked, Impact Fax Broadcast will dial a ‘1’ before every outgoing long distance fax.
