Clean Image is intended for faxed images. It will eliminate some of the noise created from faxing the image file. This function works only for monochrome and 8 bits per pixel grayscale images. The percent parameter is no less than 60 and not more than 100. This parameter shows the function how many adjacent pixels to examine around the current pixel. It can be set in the following settings dialog:
