General Settings

 

To change the default port 515, add, or remove ports, please select the Manage Ports button on the General Settings tab.

 

A pop-up window will appear.

 

To add additional ports, please click on the Add button. By default, the LPR port 515 is used by the BiLPDManager.

Adding Ports using LPR protocol

 

To add ports that are using the LPR protocol, please specify the desired port number under Port Settings and select the LPR option under the Protocol section of the Add Port window.

Click OK to add the selected port.

Adding Ports using RAW protocol

 

The default port is 9100 for the RAW protocol.

 

NOTE: The RAW protocol is not the same as the RAW data type.

 

To add ports that are using the RAW protocol, please specify the desired port under Port Settings and select the RAW option under the Protocol section of the Add Port window.

For using RAW protocol users need to specify the Queue Name under the RAW Protocol Settings section. Please select from the existing queues.

Click OK to add the selected port.

NOTE: Do not forget to open the port(s) in the Firewall to allow connections! If the default port 515 is used, the port 515 has to be opened in the Firewall.
