This can occur when a specific paper size is not specified in MS Word’s Page Setup. Go to File > Page Setup and click on the Paper tab, and the dialog box below appears:
The remedy for this is to change the Paper Size from Variable Paper Size to the actual desired output paper size, for example, Letter, 8 ½ x 11.
