Home

The Home category contains options to enable or disable features on the Home tab. Printing can also be disabled from this category.

Some of the features can be found in multiple tabs or menus. Disabling a feature will disable that feature in every location in Tiff Viewer.

Clipboard

Enable Cut, Enable Copy, Enable Paste – These options control whether the Cut, Copy and Paste features are enabled or disabled in Tiff Viewer.

Annotation / Signature / Stamp

Enable Annotation tab – By using this option, Administrators can deny access for all standard users on the computer to the features under the Annotation ribbon tab.

Enable Add Signature – This option enables or disables the Add Signature feature.

Edit

Enable rotating page(s) – This option controls whether rotating page(s) of the current document is enabled or disabled. When unchecked, it disables Rotate right and Rotate left features on the Home tab, the Rotate 90/180/270 features on the Tools tab, and the Rotate page(s) item in the right click menus.

Enable Crop – This option enables or disables the Crop feature.

OCR

Enable OCR – This option enables or disables OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Search feature for all users.

Enable OCR & Search – This option enables or disables the OCR & Search feature in the Search menu.

Enable Text Search – This option enables or disables the Text Search feature in the Search menu.

Send

Enable Send In Email – This option enables or disables sending documents in email with TIFF Viewer for all users.

Files

Enable file navigation group – Enables or disables every option in the Files group on the Home ribbon. To enable or disable options inside the Files group separately on the Home ribbon, please see the options below.

Enable File navigation – This option enables or disables the View previous image in the current directory and the View next image in the current directory buttons on the Ribbon menu allowing to navigate and open files from the current directory.

Enable Delete current file – This option controls whether deleting the currently opened file is enabled or disabled in Tiff Viewer. The current file can be deleted by using Delete current file from the Home tab or Delete file from the Tools tab.

Print

Enable Printing – This option enables or disables printing feature in TIFF Viewer for all users.
