EMF requires an internet connection to register with the Black Ice Software License Server. If your server does not have an active Internet connection or Port 80 is being blocked by your firewall, then you will see the error message below:
In this case you can register your software manually online with our Release License Key Request page. Please follow the instructions on the page. You will receive your release license number immediately.
Alternatively, you could contact Black Ice Software via sales@blackice.com or via telephone with the number displayed in the “Your Release Registration Number:” field. Black Ice Software will provide you with a Release License string via email for you to paste into the “Your Release License Number (from the reseller):” field to activate the software.
