Black Ice Software has released version 1.35 of the IceViewer with a new simplified integration for document viewing within an existing application.

Developers can now integrate the IceViewer to display PDF and TIFF multi-page documents on their website using an IFRAME.

The greatest benefit of the new feature is for existing vertical applications which are running on a server and accessed from the users’ browser as these applications can easily be modified to take advantage of the IceViewer's available features. The existing application’s business process does not require any changes, base functionality does not require any modification, and even existing databases can be utilized with the IceViewer.

The Graphical User Interface is also fully customizable to help developers take advantage of key features for their users. The IceViewer features that can be customized include the view, edit, annotate, OCR, redact, print, copy, download, share, and the recently added scan document.

Another feature added to the IceViewer is callable API’s for developers. This means developers are not required to use the IceViewer built-in Graphical User Interface (GUI), but instead can use the IceViewer as a document processing engine running in the background.

The IceViewer is recommended for existing Tiff Viewer customers, especially those using the Chrome/Edge extension, who want a centralized document viewing system that is ready to be used without having to manage client installs and deployments.
