Moving forward there will be a separate 64-bit Installer available on the Black Ice Software website. Existing customers may click here to download the Tiff Viewer 64-bit Installer for Desktops. With 32-bit windows 10/8/7 Systems are rapidly disappearing and no longer offered by Cloud providers, the 64-bit installer will become the standard installer offering. The 64 bit installer is also smaller and offers improved installation speeds, which is vital for larger corporate environements.

The other great advantage of Tiff Viewer Pro 64-bit edition is the maximum Tiff file size to open with the Tiff Viewer Pro 32-bit version was limited to less than 2GB and this limitation is now lifted.

The 64-bit edition also enabled the Tiff Viewer to open Tiff Files up to 4GB or multiple tiff Files that are larger than 2GB. This is helpful when working with large oil files or patient records.

The 64-bit edition also makes the app more responsive (launch speed, interaction speed) as the software can appropriately utilize system hardware. This will be most noticeable and helpful for users that work with large files or that have multiple files open simultaneously. Saving users minutes on individual tasks can become hours of saved time in a year for each user.

The Tiff Viewer Internet Explorer Browser Plug-in is no longer available in the 64-bit edition of the Tiff Viewer. The Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge 64 bit extension will continue to be supported.

With Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) reaching End of Life, it is no longer consider to be HIPAA compliant. The Black Ice Tiff Viewer is capable of viewing, editing and printing scanned/faxed TIFF images and other image types, resulting in an ideal substitute for MODI. When paired with the Black Ice Printer Drivers users can convert any file format to Tiff, PDF and more. The evaluation copy of both solutions is fully functional for 15 days with free priority technical support during your evaluation.
