Password Protected PDF

Users can create password-protected and encrypted PDF files with a single click. Password protection is critical in preventing unauthorized access to PDF documents or restricting sensitive operations on PDF documents like document viewing, editing, printing, and copying. The Black Ice ColorPlus and PDF printer drivers now offer an easy and simple way to enable or disable access rights to these features, helping to protect documents and their sensitive information. The Printer Driver now also includes support for 256-bit AES encryption of PDF output file formats.

New HTTPS Authentication Methods

Besides the standard authentication methods, the HTTPS Upload feature now includes the HTTP Basic authentication method and OTP (One-Time-Password) Authentication.

The HTTP Basic Authentication method is a website-level authentication method, that is managed by the Web Server service. This Feature provides a simple, and universal way to authenticate users when they upload documents to a website.

The OTP Authentication method provides a mechanism for logging on to a network using a unique password that can only be used once. The OTP authentication is a great way to simplify user interaction and reduce the number of clicks for users.
