With 2022 coming to a close, we wanted to take a moment to summarize some of the major improvements made to the Tiff Viewer over the last year.
Recent Improvements

- New feature for Administrators to allow or block users from changing user-specific features
Search and Annotate PDF documents
The TIFF Viewer Pro now includes a new Text Search feature, that allows users to quickly locate key details or information within a vector PDF document saving precious time that would have otherwise been spent manually searching or OCRing the document. The Text Search also includes the automated Highlight and Redact features which users are familiar with from our OCR Search feature.
With the TIFF Viewer Pro users can add Black Ice Annotations to Vector PDF documents. Annotations for PDFs include Note, Comment, Signature, Stamps, Rectangle, Arrow, Redact, and more…

Functional and User-friendly
In 2022, we have put the focus on making the TIFF Viewer more functional for everyday workflow and document processing. The improvements below help to make using the Tiff Viewer more user-friendly while save valuable time for users.
Users can now copy and paste multiple pages into third-party applications such as Microsoft Word or Outlook. When copying pages with annotations, the TIFF Viewer will automatically burn the annotations into the pasted pages, without affecting the pages in the TIFF Viewer.
Batch scanned pages can now be inserted before or after the currently selected page. This makes it easier to add pages to existing documents while eliminating time spent on reorganizing the document.
Users can now utilize the improved document clean-up features and deskew to clean up their newly scanned in documents. The improved deskew now allows to set custom angle adjustments, allowing them to adjust the deskew angle, rotate, or even change the orientation in one single step.
Comment and Note annotations have also been greatly improved to require fewer clicks when editing font settings. The Text annotation has also been rewritten, allowing for simplified text editing when using the mouse and keyboard.
