Symptoms:
Several customers have reported a slow or slowdown in printing PDF files to TIFF. Cause of the slow or slowdown in printing PDF files to TIFF is the KB2998812 Microsoft Update.

Solution:
On the computer where experiencing the very slow printing, Please check C:\Windows\Temp directory,
Delete the files with .tmp and .fot extensions which starts with fot prefix. For example fotCBB5.tmp, fotCBB5.fot
After you deleted the files, printing of the PDF document should be at normal speed.

Resolution:
This problem had been resolved In version 14.17.1026 of the printer driver.
