Description of the problem:
Printing is very slow on Windows 10 operating systems.

Solution:
In most cases, this problem is caused by high CPU usage of the Windows Defender. The high CPU usage is a known issue of Microsoft’s built-in Windows Defender, which could be solved by performing the following steps:

1. Open the Windows Defender
2. In Windows Defender, open the “Settings” tab
3. Select “Excluded Files and Locations” and select “Browse”
4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe
5. Select “OK” and then “Add”
6. Select “Save Changes”
