The newly released Black Ice Printer Driver version 14.99.1883 includes significant improvements for the HTTP File Uploading Feature. The new HTTP File Uploading Feature comes with customizable error codes, allowing developers to display specific error messages to the user, if any problem occurs during the HTTP File Uploading.

By using the new customizable error codes, System Administrators and Web Developers can implement additional error handling and display customized error messages for each error. This greatly improves users ability to correctly use the HTTP File Uploading feature and allows System Administrators to more quickly troubleshoot any errors.

With the latest release, error messages can now be displayed even when silent uploading is enabled for the HTTP File Uploading feature of the Printer Drivers. This allows for an improved workflow and productivity as users can remove unnecessary steps.

The new Printer Driver also includes an updated PDF writing module, including stability improvements for calculating character widths. This results in more precise PDF font calculation and font positioning when printing from certain medical applications.
