Black Ice Software has released the Auto-print SDK version 15.65 with important installation improvements! The Auto-print SDK runtime license can be activated through an API call during installation. This API based activation significantly simplifies the Auto-print SDK integration to third party applications. An Application that includes the Auto-print SDK can activate the Auto-print modules during installation of the product.

The Auto-print SDK runtime license is now transferable. If the Application that includes the Auto-print modules is uninstalled, with a simple API call the Auto-print license can be freed up and transferred automatically!

The Auto-print SDK version 15.65 also includes an important new feature to use Foxit to print PDF documents. Foxit is a similar application to Adobe Reader and can function as an alternative for printing PDF documents. For example, certain documents that are printed using Adobe recognize the document as an image or with Glyph index characters and the text cannot be extracted, but the same document printed using Foxit prints with font information so text can be extracted from the documents.
