Black Ice Software has released Printer Driver version 16.26 including the Popular M-Files (intelligent document management system) for saving documents with Meta-data!
M-Files allows you to find information based on what it is rather than where it's stored and utilizes artificial intelligence to help you manage documents.

The Black Ice printer driver allows authorized users to save documents in the M-Files Vault with a single click of “print,” from any application, using the M-Files Web Client. In the printer driver user interface we implemented the M-Files properties and after the User prints one can manually select properties. The M-Files client is not required to be installed. The OCR data and plain text data extracted from the document can be uploaded to the Vault in addition to the document itself.

The M-Files implementation includes over 30 built-in properties and unlimited custom properties. Black Ice Software supports the following M-Files data types; Bool, text, multi-line text, 32 bit integer signed, 64 bit signed integer, floating-point, lookup (select from list), data, time, multi select lookup (multi-line section).

Additional critical improvements in the printer driver include saving the Administrator configuration changes to the System account automatically to simplify shared out printer configuration.
