Black Ice Software has released the ability to print to a Single Printer with Multiple Parallel Ports as well as added support for Windows Server 2019 in version 15.41 of the Printer Drivers.

This new technology significantly improves printing speeds and is only available in Black Ice Software’s Printer Drivers.
There are no other virtual printer drivers on the market that offer this advanced technology, exploiting the advancements in computing power.

The Single Printer Parallel Port configuration offers similar performance in document conversion as the Parallel Multi-printers, although it only has one Printer.

This printer configuration is ideal for a Print Server environment, where lots of users are printing at the same time, such as for faxing or archiving.

This new printing technology does have a few limitations. This configuration does not allow parallel printing to the printer driver by an automated printing process such as with Document Converter Servers, since there is only one printer. This solution also has higher system requirements and CPU usage than the typical multi-threaded printer driver.

Available for the TIFF/Monochrome, PDF, ColorPlus Licensed Printer Drivers only.
