Black Ice Software Announces Impact Fax Broadcast; Software Designed for Reliable High Volume Fax Broadcasting in Windows 95/98 and NT.
January 7, 1999- Amherst, NH- Black Ice Software announced the release of Impact Fax Broadcast, a specialized software designed for large capacity fax broadcasting with additional E-mail to fax broadcast capability. This unique E-mail to fax feature enables Service Bureaus to use E-mail as input for their broadcasting jobs. Fax broadcasting is an indispensable tool for delivering a company’s message to potential customers. Impact Fax Broadcast provides a cost effective, scaleable and reliable solution for companies that regularly use fax broadcasting for their administrative and marketing projects. The product is priced affordably ranging from $89.00 to $495.00 depending on the number of ports supported.
The software is based on Black Ice Software’s award winning open fax architecture, it is fully scalable from a single port to 255 ports; and is compatible with BICOM, Brooktrout, Commetrex, Dialogic, GammaLink and Natural Microsystems fax boards. The software is also compatible with Class 1, Class 2 and 2.0 modems. Setup and testing for fax boards and modems is a simple 3-step process. Some of the features included in this release are: Cover page generator with an easy to use template editor, a Phonebook with export/import data capability, Schedule broadcast time, Fax Viewer with Annotation , Transmission Error report, Intelligent Retries, Search Phonebook option, and the ability to creating faxes by scanning text. Impact Fax Software requires Windows, 95, 98, or NT, 6MB hard drive space and 16 MB RAM.
