Problem:
When printing a document from Adobe Reader to the Black Ice Printer Driver to PDF file format, the printed output document contains the text as an image and it is not searchable.

Solution:
In most cases, the source of the problem could be one of the followings:

1. The Print As Image option is enabled in Adobe Reader. When printing a document in Adobe Reader, go to Print > Advanced button and make sure that the Print As Image option is unchecked.

2. The PDF Printer Driver is set to PDF Image file format. When printing a document in Adobe Reader, go to Print > Select the Black Ice Printer > Properties button and make sure that the file format is not PDF Image under File Formats tab.

3. In case if an embedded JavaScript in the original PDF document supposed to set the Print As Image option to disabled, please make sure that the Preferences > JavaScript > Enable Acrobat JavaScript option is checked.
