The TIFF Viewer Core is a Web Application that runs in the background and allows users to view any TIFF or PDF document on the Internet or on the desktop in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. The TIFF Viewer Core is part of the TIFF Viewer Standard and TIFF Viewer Pro editions.

The TIFF Viewer Core is ideal for viewing, printing, annotating, searching, and OCRing single or multi-page TIFF documents from browser-based applications.

By using the TIFF Viewer Pro edition, users get extra benefits of Vector/Editable PDF viewing, printing, Filling PDF forms, OCR, and searching Image files directly in Chrome or Edge browsers.

The Tiff Viewer Core can be installed with the standalone TIFF Viewer desktop application. Once the application is started from the desktop, it runs in the background and activates automatically when opening a TIFF/PDF document from the internet.

The Black Ice TIFF Viewer includes both the TIFF Viewer Core and a standalone TIFF/Image Viewer.

Add annotations to TIFF documents using the TIFF Viewer Core. Annotations are useful for adding additional information to documents or to emphasize or redact a specific part of the document. The TIFF Viewer Core includes the following annotations: Signature, Comment, Text, Note, Highlight, Stamp, Insert Image, Redact, Arrow, Line, Ellipse, Rectangle, and Rounded Rectangle.
